This contractual position offers a workweek of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., providing a consistent daily schedule. Compensation ranges from $35 to $42 per hour, determined by your years of experience and educational background.
Qualifications And Experience
- Possess a valid Texas Teaching Certificate
- Core subject certification may be required
- Completion of at least one year of student teaching or an approved internship
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to facilitating student success
- Ability to create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment
Responsibilities
- Deliver general education instruction to PK-6th grade students following district and state standards
- Develop lesson plans, adapt activities to diverse learning needs, and utilize varied instructional strategies
- Assess student progress regularly and communicate outcomes with parents and staff
- Foster a safe, respectful, and motivating learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues, families, and support staff to promote each child's academic and personal growth
- Participate in professional development and extracurricular activities as required
